Android app 1.3

October 2026

  • A brand-new look: colourful aurora backgrounds, glass panels and a floating tab bar. Settings → Reduce transparency switches to plain panels.
  • The Record screen now fits on one screen, with the record button always in reach.
  • Share takes as small MP3 files as well as WAV.
  • Count-in and punch-in synced to the producer's song in Remote Session.
  • Trim and level a take into a new copy, and play a cleaned preview before keeping Studio Cleanup.
  • Select several takes with a long press and delete them together, with Undo.
  • Export all your takes as one ZIP file.
  • The app is now available in Hindi and Spanish as well as English.
  • A smoother first-run guide, plus many reliability fixes.

Plugin 1.2.0

October 2026

  • Now available for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit VST3), alongside Mac (VST3 and AU).
  • The engine is built into the plugin: no separate app, background service or login item.
  • New copy installers: unzip and run Install MicDrop.command (Mac) or Install MicDrop.bat (Windows). The previous version is kept as a backup.
  • Remote Session: share a six-digit code, approve the singer and receive takes over the internet.
  • Music stream and take sync for Remote Session, so returned takes line up with the song.
